With great pleasure and conviction, the Municipality of Spirano has joined, this year, the Road of Valcalepio Wine and of the Flavours of the Bergamo Area.
As a municipal administration, we strongly believe in teamwork, especially when it comes to promoting our area and its excellences.
Proof of this is Spirano’s leading role in the Lower Bergamasca Agricultural District, the largest agricultural district in Italy. Today, it is also a member of “The Road”, a virtuous project uniting various institutions, associations, districts, schools, producers and entrepreneurial activities behind the common goal of promoting our beautiful land.
From its lowlands to its lakes, mountains and city, the riches of our province are plenty, and the deserving title of “Bergamo: A UNESCO Creative City” also recognizes this immense heritage on the international scene.
Valuable initiatives such as the Road of Valcalepio Wine and the Flavours of the Bergamo Area are therefore very much welcome. Only together can we best promote our gastronomic and cultural treasures.
