About us

La Strada del Vino Valcalepio e dei Sapori della Bergamasca, or “The Road of Valcalepio Wine and of the Flavours of the Bergamo Area”, is a voluntary, non-profit association, accredited by the Lombardy Region of Italy.

From a strategic point of view, La Strada, or “The Road”, creates opportunities for the local development and aggregation of cultural and tourism initiatives, thus building up, and maintaining over time, a synergistic network of partners across various economic sectors.

Food and wine products and their producers are at the centre of this network, together with providers of services in hospitality, crafts, retail, entertainment and other similar sectors, in having the shared goal of providing a rich, complete and integrated cultural and tourism offering.

The key to this goal is the promotion of products, producers and places as elements that, if combined and properly valued, can represent valid and unique factors of attraction.

La Strada should therefore not considered an entity that looks exclusively to tourism, yet rather as a community marketing initiative that focuses on aggregating and representing the various activities of our local area, supporting them and helping them to flourish collectively and individually.
